Activity . . . or the lack of . . .

We all have things as need to do to keep an even keel — blogging, exercising, reading, cooking. What’s yours?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us ACTIVITY.

My activities on a sort-of-daily basis:

studying, reading, working (paying job), cooking, loving, caring, caressing, driving.

I luuuurv to read. I read to get away from it all. I read to relax and to go someplace else even if it’s only in my head. As I’ve mentioned before, I am an obsessive-compulsive-reader. I read everything. If it doesn’t interest me, but catches my eye, I will read it – ads, posters, signs, etc. Luckily I curb that with a good book – one that I want to read.

The lack of activity in our house:

Standout . . .

When was the last time you really stood out in a crowd? Are you comfortable in that position, or do you wish you could fade into the woodwork?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us STANDOUT.

I do not do crowds and I do not like being in the spotlight.

Thus, the photo:

This is standout.

PS: My little camera did not want to play that day, thus the photos were taken with my old BlackBerry phone.

Opposite . . .

If you normally write non-fiction, post a photo. If you normally post images, write fiction. If you normally write fiction, write a poem. If you normally write poetry, draw a picture.

(New) photographers, artists, poets: show us OPPOSITE.

Not entirely sure whether this qualifies, but for me, this is opposite. We were in the hot air balloon when we drifted over this little pond. My hubby hung over the edge of the basket to get this shot.

Tell us about the farthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

Photographers, artists, poets: show us DISTANCE.

This one is far gone . . . this one has traveled the DISTANCE.
